๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ•ŽDATE CHANGE! Tree Lighting at Human Compass Garden, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 18, 5:30 PM, followed by gathering at Jalopy Tavern โ€“ sponsored by CSWA!

WE'VE MOVED THE DATE DUE TO ICY CONDITIONS!

Join CSWA for a night of holiday fun reviving the tree lighting tradition at Human Compass Garden, corner of Sackett and Columbia Streets. There will be music, goodies and Santa at the garden. Then join us at Jalopy Tavern, 317 Columbia St for the afterparty!

Thanks to House of Pizza and Calzone for the tree, Ben Fuller-Googins at CGA for all his help reserving the garden, and to Jalopy for hosting the afterparty and for providing a ukulele Christmas chorus. Thanks as well to Brooklyn French Bakers and Poppy's to Go for donating sweets!

Here's the revised flyerโ€‹โ€‹ for the tree lighting (thanks so much, Zoe Grover!):

Here's the tree Sunday morning with the season's first snowfall:

For the play-by-play of how Sharon Gordon and James Morgan stood the tree up, see the Columbia Waterfront District Instagram!

We hope to see you all there!
